RiSE Talent Search Examination , Ladakh, 2017

Project Image 1
In August, 2017 RiSE conducted its talent search examination in Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir in collaboration with Directorate School Education, Leh in 9 government schools targeting more than 1400 students from class IX to XII. Counseling sessions for students were conducted in their respective schools after completion of their examination. RiSE team had visited in some of the far flung areas of Ladakh to identify talented students. Around 10 students were selected for further mentoring at RiSE institute who joined RiSE in December, 2017 to prepare for JEE & NEET examinations. Despite the dearth of resources because of the geographical location of the region, the students appeared very motivated and full of dreams.

RTSE in Ladakh region has opened a gateway for the students of that region to come to Srinagar and get proper guidance in the pursuit of their ambition.

RiSE Talent Search Examination , Kashmir. 2015

Project Image 1

RTSE is first of its kind examination which was conducted across Kashmir valley with an aim to identify talented students by examining more than 20,000 students and provide them with appropriate and adequate guidance so that they excel in their fields of interest. The initiative is being supported by Jammu & Kashmir Bank.

"From our experience of working closely with students in Kashmir, we have observed that in our region, we lack mechanisms to identify students with potential and desire to excel in their areas of interest, and, hence, we are not able to provide them with adequate guidance at appropriate time."

" As a result, even most of our bright students are unable to perform well in various competitive examinations viz-a-viz JEE, CLAT, CAT, UPSC, CA/CS/CWA, etc, and, consequently, are unable to secure admissions to the most prestigious universities/colleges of India. Hence, such kind of an academic activity is the need of the hour in Kashmir"
